	Statement of Objectives The National Association for Ethnic Studies has as its basic purpose the promotion of activities and scholarship in the field of ethnic studies. The Board of Directors includes scholars and professionals from several disciplines who are available to serve as consultants. The Association is open to any person or institution. The Association serves as a forum to its members for promoting research, study, curriculum design, and publications. The Association sponsors an Annual Conference on Ethnic Studies.
