Ethnic Studies Review

Ethnic Studies Review (ESR) is a double-blind, peer-reviewed, online international journal devoted to scholarship on a wide range of topics pertaining to Ethnic Studies understood from a broad and inclusive perspective and is published by the University of California Press.

A defining focus of the journal is fostering multi- and interdisciplinary research that emphasizes the interconnectedness and intersectionality of Ethnic Studies and the issues, themes and ideas pursued in its name. Comparative and methodologically innovative papers are especially welcome. ESR also publishes book reviews and commentaries.

Historic archived issues of the journal in each of its prior iterations dating back to January 1972 is housed by the VCU Libraries and are available for free download here.
